SCHOOL FACTS

Cochise Elementary School opened in September 1980 and reopened as our new school in August 2001.  From the time it opened, parents and staff have been committed to making our school the finest that it can be.

Cochise School Goals


  1. Create lifelong independent learners by teaching basic skills in a meaningful, integrated curriculum.
  2. Foster positive self-esteem and valuing of individual similarities and differences.
  3. Provide safe, supportive environments for students in order to enhance learning.
  4. Build a student/school/community alliance, which promotes responsible citizenship, civic participation, and global awareness.
  5. Build a school environment, which continually promotes a cooperative working relationship and open communication among students, parents, and school personnel.
  6. Provide opportunities for staff members to share activities, which promote collegiality and professional growth in order to enhance students’ school experience.
  7. Manage staff, time, and money resources effectively to promote student learning and to fulfill school goals.
